About Progress
My Account
Progress is committed to creating meaningful impact through strategic investments that support our residents, strengthen communities, elevate housing quality, embrace sustainability and empower team members with opportunities for professional growth.
Progress was the first in the single-family rental industry to offer free positive rent reporting to all residents, helping them establish or improve their credit just by paying rent on time.
Our workforce housing pilot helps community workers live closer to the neighborhoods they serve. In Atlanta, Progress offers local law enforcement affordable, stable housing through rent concessions and subsidies. Our goal is to learn from the pilot and scale this or similar programs to support additional essential workers in other markets based on local needs.
We’re proud to provide access to stable housing to residents who use rental assistance programs. Through partnerships with over 125 housing authorities, our team enables those receiving rental assistance to live in communities of higher opportunity across the country, with good schools, lower crime rates and access to amenities.
Our participation in Pretium’s First Look Homes pilot program gives eligible residents and community partners access to purchase Progress-managed homes before they are listed for sale, expanding affordable homeownership opportunities and reinvesting in the communities we serve.
We’re proud to support organizations that advance housing access, education, safety and opportunity. In 2024, we donated over $100,000 to nonprofit partners, including Westside Future Fund, where we serve as their official Volunteer Sponsor in support of their mission to strengthen communities through equitable revitalization.
Creating Community is one of our Core Values, and our team members bring this value to life through service. We encourage and empower our employees to volunteer, and in 2024, Progress teams volunteered nearly 1,500 hours to the communities where they live and work.
In 2024, we held our inaugural Safety Summit in Atlanta, convening housing leaders, policymakers, non-profits and public safety partners to advance housing solutions. This event surfaced real community needs, elevated shared responsibilities and developed actionable strategies for supporting secure, equitable neighborhoods, and we’re excited to continue the conversation in Charlotte.
Progress Smart Homes incorporate technology throughout the home that helps reduce energy consumption while enhancing the safety and comfort of our residents. As of December 2024, 79% of Progress homes were equipped with Smart Home Technology.
Our Energy Saver and Solar Home programs evaluate how upgrades like enhanced insulation, energy-efficient HVAC systems, LED lighting and rooftop solar may reduce environmental impact and support lower utility costs for residents.
With a commitment to improving our housing stock, Progress has invested more than $1.9 billion in renovations across nearly 75,000 homes, prioritizing upgrades that improve comfort, efficiency and sustainability.
Through a network of colleges, vocational schools, nonprofits and military placement programs, the Workforce Development Program has engaged more than 2,000 students and provided over 70 apprenticeships, creating job pipelines in the skilled trades.
Through hands-on training programs like our Skilled Trades Academy, Progress is increasing technical confidence and field-readiness across our Service and Construction teams, helping employees strengthen their skills and advance their careers while supporting faster, more reliable service for residents.
We've developed multi-level learning and leadership development programs that help team members build professional skills, strengthen leadership capabilities, and grow their careers. Paired with regular webinars and a broad library of self-paced learning content, these opportunities support continuous growth.
