Progress Residential today announced that Nikki Sloup, Senior Vice President of Brand, Communications and PR, has been named a 2026 Top Women in Communications honoree by Ragan Communications in the Brand Storytellers category.
“This honor belongs to the team,” Sloup said. “I’m grateful to lead professionals who believe deeply in the power of authentic storytelling and who work every day to elevate the voices of our residents and team members. Together, we are sharing stories that reflect real impact in the communities we serve.”
The annual program recognizes women who are moving the communications industry forward through bold leadership and impactful storytelling. The full list of honorees can be viewed on Ragan’s website here.
“This year’s honorees are leaders, builders and changemakers whose work is shaping the future of communications across industries,” said Brendan Gannon, Ragan Communications Awards Programs Senior Marketing Manager. “Congratulations to this incredible group and to the nominators and teams who help make their work possible.”
Since joining Progress in 2021, Sloup has built the company’s first unified brand and communications team and reshaped how Progress tells its story. By bringing brand, public relations, internal communications and digital strategy together, she helped move the organization from reactive messaging to proactive storytelling focused on resident stability, workforce housing access, financial empowerment and community partnerships across more than 30 markets.
